It was one of the best festivals that I've been to, possibly helped by the fact that I could go home and go to my own at the end of each day(I'm getting old before my time!). But seriously, the music was phenomenal, with Portishead curating, they chose the most amazing line up with PJ Harvey, Grinderman and of course Portishead themselves, both nights! Also heard some bands that I hadn't discovered before like "The Books", "Beach House" (apparently they are pretty big and I'm out of touch), "Foot Village" were also pretty cool, just 4 drums and rather shouty awesome lady.

Did I mention that Ally Pally is beautiful? They used the massive amounts of space so well. I never felt crushed once!
We had Pieminister pie all the way from Bristol. Nom!
